Of course this puts me in mind of The American Pavilion at Expo ’67 in Montreal. Jeff, how about a post on THAT building, and some of the other structures there. That was my introduction to Fuller, as a nine-year old. Mind expansion was big in 67!
Hi Geoff
Where did you find these images.. I am trying to access to some original pictures and drawings from Fuller’s work and it is not being easy! Suggestions?
Many thanks,
Nuno
Just found them at the site linked in the post. Sorry that doesn’t help very much! You could try contacting the Fuller Institute.
The current Bucky exhibit at the Whitney in NY is pretty cool. They have some of these patent drawings if I recall. If you can’t attend, the catalog is available online from the Whitney store: Link: http://www.whitney.org/www/store/index.shtml
There is also a Bucky symposium at Sept 12 + 13 at The Great Hall of the Cooper Union
Thank you Michael.
